About Uptodown

If someone, by chance visited here and doesn't know what this post is about and what is Uptodown. So here is your answer.

As you see the site title, UpToDown - Stands for Upload To Download. So now you know that here, users can upload files and download them later.

Now What to upload and download?

This is the choice of site admin. Admin choose allowed file extensions. Then the user uploads these file types.

So Uptodown is a software/apps downloading website. Then the website allows only apps related file extensions.

Like .apk for android.

.exe for Windows etc.

So today we are going together to learn how to upload apps in uptodown. Many sites like;

• Google Play Store
• APKPure
• AndroidAPKsFree
• APKMonk
• APKMirror
• APK Gold
• APK4Fun
• APKSum

The above sites are only hosted for .apk files. Only for android.

But Uptodown is different. Uptodown hosts .apk files for android. And also other Operating Systems. 

In short, you can download apps for every device(Windows, Android, Mac, etc).

Now let's move to our main topic.

How to upload the app in uptodown. In order to upload your app in uptodown, you must follow these steps.

• Go to Developers area

Go to the address in your browser defined in the screenshot above or Click Here for the shortcut.

• Click Developers Login

When you follow step:1, a page will be opened. Then click Developers Login

• Login to your Account

Now enter your login details and click the green button to log in to the developer's zone.

• Click Add New App

When you log in to your account. You will be redirected to the dashboard page.

Here Click Add New App Button.

• Choose Your app

When you click Add New App button, a popup will appear on the page. In this popup, you can choose your app. Here you will see two sections.

1. Operating System
2. Select your app.

Choose android in the OS section and Click Browse Button to choose your app from the files manager.

• Click Upload

Now, when you choose your app from the file manager, then click the blue UPLOAD button.

• Wait for Progress Completion

When you click the Upload button, the app uploading process will be started. Wait until the progress bar reaches 100%. The time depends on your app size. 

Note: Sometimes we upload small size app but the progress bar doesn't complete. So if you also face this problem. Then refresh the page and try to upload your app again.

• Enter app details

Now enter your app details. You will need to enter these details;

1. App Name
2. App Operating System(Android or Windows)
3. App Category
4. App ID
5. Author Website
6. Nationality
7. Author Name
8. Author Twitter Username(optional)

Now click Submit for review button and your app will be submitted.

• Wait until review completion

Now you will see your app status as Pending review. This means that your app has been successfully submitted but is still under review.

A moderator will install your app on their phone. He/She will test your app for the virus, malware, etc.

When the review gets completed, your app will be Published on uptodown.
